Worked out at a friends place today. A little limited in weights (smallest weight was a 10# bumper, max weight possible was 315#).
ReplyDeleteA. 95/115/135/165/185(failed) about 2" from locking out 185. Could've definitely gotten 180, but couldn't make that weight with the plates we had.
B. 295/305/315/315/315/315 - obviously could've gone heavier but it was all the weight I had available. Probably would've gone 325# otherwise.
C. 1:41/2:34/2:45 - c2b instead of muscle ups
D. Done.
Power:
ReplyDeleteA. 10/10 @ 175
B. worked up to 205
C. 7/7
Ran out of time for the second 7min work. Thruster and CTB combo was finishing with about 40 seconds remaining in the minute.

Been following for a while just have been in and out of competitions and traveling the last few months. Going to try and get results up more consistently now.

Was happy with today's session considering I felt pretty sluggish going in. Still fatigued from the basketball tournament this past weekend. 225 for a double is a very solid push press for me right now. Had zero drop off during the conditioning, was pretty happy with that. Right thumb is still fairly sore although it didn't really bothering me during touch and go cleans, I could feel it, but it didn't cause "pain" per say. My second knuckle definitely has some swelling in it, but really have no idea whats going on with it. As I said strength is still good cause I can pinch grip a 35lb plate still, when I hurt it in college I could even pick up wet jeans out of the washer. Will see how it feels after comp this weekend. Will take tomorrow off and rest up, train thursday, friday off, then comp saturday.
Went to the Osteopath t have my back checked out again... still not a 100% :-(. therefor no training for me yesterday. As I should have done this one. But today (friday) doing the one of Friday the 5th
